Part of the reason for the trip was to take the top layer
of the wedding cake for a first anniversary celebration.
As my wife decribes Codi, "This is our granddog."
Codi gets her exercise at least twice a day. Kerri thinks we're
good houseguests because we walk the dog (maybe we like her?).
Would you believe this is inside DC? A piece of history,
it's part of the grounds of Dumbarton Oaks where Allied
leaders met during World War II.
Why in the world would Thomas Jefferson want to
build his house way out here in the wilderness?
Jefferson's workshop was the room on the far right.
And the flowers are still great!
No trip to Philly is complete without a visit to Independence Hall.
And to the Liberty Bell, although most visitors don't
see it from this angle.
And to the Betsy Ross house.
