What I do for fun

I brag about my family.

carol97 [4K] Carol teaches 3 year olds at our church's kindergarten. She says she's not creative, but she retains her sanity after spending the morning with a roomful of these kids. I think she's very creative! She also sings in the adult choir and ensemble, and plays handbells.

kerri Kerri received her Master's in Industrial Engineering (Manufacturing Systems) from Georgia Tech in 1994. She's employed by an engineering consulting firm in Dulles, VA, and married her high school sweetheart in 1996. They tried to make us feel older in 2001.

karen Karen is a 1997 graduate of Berry College in Rome, GA. She was active in community services, including a clown troupe, and was one of the founders of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Club at Berry. (Wonder where she got that interest? ;-)
She received her Master's degree from the University of South Carolina's School of Library and Information Science in May, 2000, and is a Reference Librarian at Auburn University at Montgomery. She had a May, 2001, wedding with her undergrad sweetheart.

I completed my BS in Information Systems at Kennesaw State University in May 2002. The yellow tassel indicates graduation with honor (Summa cum Laude). The precious little girl is Kerri's first child and our first grandchild.

I've done volunteer work in various areas: In addition to my interests in education and photography , I'm an Amateur Radio (Ham) operator, WB4HLZ.   I enjoy science fiction books and movies, from Ray Bradbury's "Martian Chronicles" to "Harry Potter".    I also enjoy "mind-stretchers" such as the Escher drawings.
