This is Lake Blue Ridge and the ridges in the distance do look blue.

This is the view on the other side of the dam: the ridges are also blue here.

This is one of the tubing and kayak put-ins on the Toccoa River.
The white water here is probably no higher than Class 2.

The road sign says "Scenic View" - I agree, you can see at least five separate ridges here.
